Oana Țoiu has founded a social innovation consultancy butiq. Until 2015 she served as Partner in Central and Eastern Europe in Business Models Inc, an international innovation consultancy boutique built by the producer of Business Models Generation Book around the Business Models Canvas methodology and design thinking. Prior to this, Oana was leading a social innovation company based in Romania, KCMC, focused on building and developing grassroots social enterprises in Roma communities and remote villages. Their leading project was selected by the European Commission in the top 10 best social innovation ideas on employment in Europe.
For many years Oana has been engaging locally with impact driven organizations, such as The Impact Hub, UNDP and World Vision, in designing and delivering trainings on social entrepreneurship and support areas.
A firm believer in fostering leadership for Romania’s youth she teaches at the Alternative University in Bucharest, co-hosts a series of monthly events with world class Romanian sportsmen & women as inspiration for students and serves as an advisor to a series of youth NGOs.
She has a series of affiliations, among which: Aspen Romania Fellow, a Global Shaper with the World Economic Forum and part of AIESEC Romania Alumni Hall of Fame. She was also included by Foreign Policy Romania in the list of 101 thinkers and doers that move Romania.
